Finland celebrated its exhilarating gold medal win on home soil at the World Junior Hockey Championship throughout the evening Tuesday, and it's back at it again Wednesday – or rather, it's still going.
Overtime hero Kasperi Kapanen got things started following the game with a dance in the dressing room at the Hartwall Arena.
The party eventually made its way outside, and has not stopped since.
Thousands of fans braved temperatures as low as nearly minus-8 degrees Fahrenheit (minus-22 degrees Celsius) to celebrate with what the Finns like to call "Torilla tavataan," which means "Meet you at the marketplace."
The fan celebration is ongoing Wednesday, and this time, the gold medal heroes are involved.
The Finns certainly know how to enjoy an important moment, which apparently would not be complete without a quick trip to Burger King.
