Bye, haters! Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore has been absolutely glowing on Instagram ever since she announced that she is pregnant and expecting baby No.1 with her husband Marc Daly. Earlier this week, Kenya shared her first-ever baby bump picture and she’s slowly started to feel more confident about sharing her pregnancy with her fans, but of course the haters had to ruin it by mom-shaming Kenya in the comments of a recent picture where she showed off her baby bump while working out.
“Trying to stay fit for baby!” the 47-year-old wrote. While many fans flooded the comments gushing over how great pregnancy looks on Kenya, others weren’t so nice. “Girl [you] better chill out and be careful with all that exercising… you barely [could] get pregnant [with] high risk at your age… [You] barely got that baby,” one fan wrote, while others begged her not to excercise during her pregnancy. “Please take it easy, you can always exercise after,” one fan wrote.
While it seems like all of the concern is coming from a well-meaning place, it’s safe to say that Kenya knows her body and she probably wouldn’t put her unborn child in any danger. In fact, most active women get cleared by their doctors to continue their exercise routine throughout their pregnancy, and we’re sure Kenya’s OB/GYN was able to give her advice about how to get her sweat on while also being cautious with her baby.
Regardless of what others think, Kenya is going to continue to enjoy her pregnancy as she prepares to welcome her first child. Since the new mama-to-be is experiencing everything for the first time, she wants to wait until she gives birth to find out the sex of her baby. “We want to be surprised and we want to make it as natural as we can at this point,” she revealed to People. “We just want a healthy baby. And it doesn’t matter to either of us — boy, girl, we don’t really care.”
