Ava Stanford Dishes on the Future of HYALINE

Meet your new obsession: HYALINE COSMETICS!

The newly-launched brand — headed by Ava Stanford — is all about embracing and embellishing the best parts of your inner AND outer beauty. “Because why not show off your natural you with a little flair,” the site poses. We couldn’t agree more!

To celebrate the collection, which features cheek, lip, eye and nail products, we caught up with the 15-year-old budding beauty and makeup mogul (and younger sister of Why Don’t We‘s Jack Avery) to get the inside scoop on what fans can expect to see next out of the glittering line of must-haves. The best part? Ava even teased a coming-soon eye product that’ll be available in just a couple of weeks!

What inspired you to launch your brand?
Ava: HYALINE [is another word for] glossy/transparent. I wear a lot of natural makeup because I have a lot of freckles, and I don’t like covering them up. I think it’s best to bring out your natural beauty, but…like me…people [still] like to bling it up sometimes, so I wanted to create a makeup line that could be natural but [still] blingy.

Have you always had a love of makeup?
Ava: My mom was a cosmetologist teacher. [Growing up,] she would always do my nails, and my older sister Sydnie would always do my makeup. I always enjoyed it!

Which product in the collection is your most used?
Ava: The AFTERGLOW is my most used HYALINE product. It’s a stick highlighter. I love it because it’s smooth and when I put it on it doesn’t feel like I have lotion on my face. I love it! I use the “24 KARAT-AFTERGLOW” on regular days. When I want to spice it up a little, I use “PINKY PROMISE-AFTERGLOW.” I also can’t live without LIPGLOSS OR YOUR LOSS. It’s my clear lip gloss that lasts forever. Love it!

What’s next for the beauty brand?
Ava: My biggest goal is to have HYALINE products available in all big beauty stores, [like] Sephora and Ulta. [And] I definitely have exciting things in the works to bring [new] products to everyone. I’ve been working on another eye product. It will be coming out within the next couple of weeks!
