How old are you?

I just turned 14 in September.

What is your favorite thing about modeling, acting, singing, and dancing?

I enjoy the performance arts because it is a way for me to express myself and I love to connect with other people with the same interests who are excited about their crafts.

Well, I’m in Middle School right now and sometimes it can get busy like if there is a dance performance, and a musical at the same time as exams, or like right now, I will be testing for my first degree black belt in Karate, while I’ve been rehearsing for a play and still doing all of the other singing and dance classes, going on auditions and of course, going to school. At those times I just have to focus on the priorities and remember that it isn’t always that busy – – so grind!

What is your favorite modeling experience?

I was very excited to be selected to do an editorial in the Harvard Graduate School of Education Magazine discussing anxiety in middle school girls. It’s such an important topic and impacts so many girls my age. It felt so positive to be involved in something like that with a great group of girls.

I also really enjoyed partipating in the IMTA (International Modeling and Talent Association) event in NY in 2018. Walking the runway for Karen Lee, listening to seminars by top industry professionals like Michaela Goddard, Joey Hunter, Bobby Moresco, etc., acting, singing, modeling – it was a fantastic experience that allowed me the possibility to sample this way of life. I realized then that this is what I want to do as a profession.

What is your future plans for modeling, dancing, singing, and acting?Future plans?

I’m extremely excited about the future. I work very hard every single day to improve my music, acting, dancing, and modeling. My goal is to work in some capacity in the business throughout my life. I think it’s hard to predict what it will look like, because you start on one thing and then successes and failures push you one way or another. Mostly, as of now, I just really appreciate all of the incredible and talented people I’ve met so far. The opportunities I’ve had to be on camera have been so much fun, so I’m hoping it just continues.

Do you have any advice for teens in your field?

I think it’s very important to know what you are about. Ask yourself if you are committed. Once you know that, you can move forward aggressively toward your goals. Do not listen to anyone who tells you “it’s weird” or “you shouldn’t do that”. There will be plenty. What I learned about myself is that I can’t NOT do this. It is an absolute ton of work. People might say you “get lucky” getting “noticed” but from other models and actors I’ve met I know that is almost never the case. So, practice what you are good at. Work even harder on the things you need to develop, take classes with professionals who know the business, and never ever give up. Put positive energy into everything and everyone you meet, and I do think good things will come back to you eventually.

A positive outlook will carry you through because there will be some big setbacks – don’t let them get you down! Surround yourself with a group of peers in the areas that you want to succeed in. There is so much you can learn from your like-minded friends. It feels good to support others and give back as much as possible.

I think it’s also important to have a professional Instagram especially if you don’t have the support of an agency. Getting a few professional photos and getting signed by a reputable agency in your market are big first steps.
I hope my interview can inspire other teens if they have an interest in performance arts to go for their dreams and help others do the same.Sorry for the late response! We have a few questions for you!How old are you?How do you balance all four professions?
