Forthcoming BTS album BE now has a track list ahead of its release date on November 20.
In a tweet on November 10, Big Hit Entertainment shared the track list along with a conceptual photo tied to lead single “Life Goes On.” Written in cursive, it reads, “Life goes on/Like an echo in the forest/Like an arrow in the blue sky/On my pillow, on my table/Life goes on like this again.”
The album will feature eight songs (7+1… I’m thinking), including Billboard no. 1 hit “Dynamite,” with song titles including “Blue & Grey” and “Stay” in English. Big Hit sent out a press release with the official English translations for the Korean titles: Track 2 is “Fly To My Room,” track 5 is “Telepathy,” and track 6 is “Dis-ease.”
Fans have been highly anticipating BE, an album that BTS has taken fans on the journey of creating through a series of live streams. The Korean septet has previously shared that they’ve been involved in the entire album creation process this time, taking charge of styling, visuals, and more in addition to their continued songwriting input. As BTS told Teen Vogue back in August, “Each member has a significant share for this upcoming album. An increase of direct participation in the album-making process allowed us to explore more aspects of our music and creativity.”
So far, that has taken the form of concept photos released over the past week, each with a member of BTS in a room of their own. Each room reflects the member’s aesthetic sensibilities, from the color of the walls to the items on the shelves to the clothes they’re wearing. Looking at all seven images at once, the house that BTS built leans into what makes each member unique even as it brings them all together.
