HGSE’s continues tradition of honoring student leadership and dedication with annual Intellectual Contribution, Marshal, and Strimling Awards.

Phyllis Strimling Award

The Phyllis Strimling Award recognizes the character and achievement of an HGSE graduate with a strong academic performance, who has used or is preparing to use the HGSE experience for the advancement of women and society, and who has grown personally and professionally as a result.

Intellectual Contribution Award

The HGSE Intellectual Contribution Award recognizes 13 students (one from each Ed.M. program) whose dedication to scholarship enhanced the academic life of the community and positively impacted their fellow students.
