“Euphoria” Makeup Artist Donni Davy Teams Up With Face Lace

Recreating the iconic makeup looks from HBO’s hit series Euphoria just got a lot easier. Doniella Davy, also known as Donni Davy, the head of the show’s makeup department, has collaborated with Face Lace to release an array of easy-to-apply face decals inspired by the show.

The “HEAD IN THE CLOUDS” limited-edition collection is available to purchase online now, with shipping starting on February 15.  It comes in two finishes, Iridescent Holographic and Twinkling Silver Glitter, for $17.50 a set. Each set includes two sheets, which is enough to create six to eight looks in total.

“I first found out about Face Lace in the middle of filming Season 1 of Euphoria while I was passionately falling in love with the concept of stick-on makeup,” Donni wrote on Instagram. “It was my dream to be able to one day work with Phyllis (the incredible artist behind @face_lace), and have her bring one of my designs to life in the form of a face decal!”

The collection owes its name to “one of Davy’s most copied looks,” the clouds Jules sported during the show’s first season and they might look even more familiar because Jules herself sported the decals during her recent special episode, F*ck Anyone Who’s Not a Sea Blob. Donni herself shot the campaign with a 35mm camera.

The decals not only resemble the makeup designs from the show, but are easy to apply to any face and eye shape. “I’ve always thought it would be really fun to do a throwback to the Season 1 clouds look at some point, but in a different medium, so here it is!” Donni added. Aside from giving us the Euphoria aesthetics easily, the collection also gives back, with 10% of profits being donated to Trans Lifeline

Euphoria has quickly dominated the beauty community since premiering with many of the show’s stars now venturing into the makeup scene. Just last year, Hunter Schafer joined forces with beauty brand Shiseido as a Global Makeup Ambassador. And who could forget when the show won Outstanding Contemporary Makeup at the Emmys? Clearly, Donni and the whole Euphoria beauty team know how to do their job perfectly, and now we can finally have that euphoric feel at home with these new face decals regardless of our makeup skills! (More details about how to apply and the inspiration can be found on Donni’s website.)
