How to make friends in your teenage years.

Intro To Friendships

As you get older you and enter into your teenage years you start to find out more about yourself than you thought you never knew about. Now it’s very different for teenage girls and teenage boys. Being a teenager is already hard enough it’s a full time responsibility.

One of the biggest influences in this is the people we surrounded ourselves which are friends. Our friends are what makes our lives so much better, our friends are the ones who help us through tough times. It’s important to have friends because we all need someone we can rely on, laugh with, and care for.

What you should look for in a friend

Whenever you meet someone new it’s ok to form a first impression on someone. You also have to understand that a life changing friendship takes time. Just because someone first impression wasn’t that great that doesn’t mean there not qualified to end up becoming your best friend.

When your meet people you have to be free to opening up. By doing this you get the chance to pass off a positive vibe to another person who will most likely give back that same vibes. When you look for a friend that person you should look for someone who you can see yourself getting along with and respects you for you.

How you can be a friend to someone else

Treat someone how you want to be treated. I know everyones heard that before and we all know what that means but that is so true. You can’t expect someone to only help you and you don’t return the favor.

A friendship should be equal. The beautiful part of a friendship is that you know the other person very well, so if they are having a tough time then help them or if they need some attention give it to them.

You should take into consideration their needs as well as yours. If you see your friend giving 100% you give the same.

All friendships don’t work put perfectly

don’t force the relationship let them come at their own pace but don’t chase them if you’ve tried everything you can and they don’t show any effort leave them alone and move on you cant please everyone.

Give the same amount of effort as the other person does. You have to remember that you are an individual first don’t let someone take advantage of your kindness, because a real friend wont.

There will be hardships in friendships and tough times, but if its meant to be it can be worked out the right way.

Why we all need friendship

There is nothing better than sharing a unique bond with someone. Especially when your a young teenager, you need to build your social skills. One of the best things you can do with someone is creating new memories with them.

Nothing is better than just laughing with someone until you cant feel your face. No one wants to be lonely or deserves to be lonely I truly believe that there is someone for everyone you just have to find them, and when you find them the rest is history.

It’s key that you treat everyone with respect because you never know what someone is going through. At the end of the day always remember to value a friendship by never taking someone for granted.
