Hyram-Approved Brand Bubble Aims to Fill a Void in Teenage Skin Care


Have you spent the majority of your spare time since the pandemic started binging Hyram’s skin care videos on TikTok and YouTube? If the answer is yes, let us first say you are not alone! And, second, we have news that will be of your interest! New skincare brand Bubble is launching on November 19 and it aims to change the face of skincare made for teenagers. And before you even ask, yes, it’s Hyram-approved. 

“Traditionally, teenage skincare is one of those things I’m usually skeptical of,” Hawaii-based YouTuber Hyram Yarbro, aka. Skin Care by Hyram, told Teen Vogue exclusively. “A lot of the concerns teenagers are struggling with, like breakouts and acne, require skin care that is made with skin health and skin sensitivity in mind; yet the majority of teenage skin care products on the market are heavily fragranced, highly irritating, and over stripping.”

At launch, Bubble’s collection includes seven products: A face cleanser (Fresh Start Gel Cleanser), a makeup remover (Wipe Out Makeup Remover), a clay mask (Come Clean Detoxifying Clay Mask), two options for a moisturizer (Slam Dunk Hydrating Moisturizer and Level Up Balancing Moisturizer), and two options for a toner (Bounce Back Refreshing Toner and Break Even Balancing Toner). The entire line ranges in price from $12-$19, making it a good option for teenagers and their parents who may not have the ability to spend a lot on good skin care.

Every product is vegan, cruelty-free, and completely free of fillers, fragrances, and harsh chemicals. The line was developed by a team that included top dermatologists as well as clinical herbalists to formulate products that are scientifically proven to be both safe and effective. The ingredients include beloved skin care formula classics like niacinamide, vitamin E, and kaolin clay, as well as thoughtfully chosen herbal ingredients like aloe vera, willow bark extract, and raspberry seed oil. 

Bubble has already been teasing its launch on Instagram, as well as tapping some of our forever faves like Olympic Medalist Laurie Hernandez, trans advocate Jazz Jennings, and dancer Kenzie Ziegler

“Bubble spoke to 5000 teenagers about their skin to curate the brand based off of what consumers want,” Hyram told Teen Vogue. “This is important to me because I like to focus on existing scientific data, recommending what’s clinically shown to work, while also utilizing the amazing benefits found in plants. I’ve been trying these products on my skin since March and I’m happy to say I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my experience using each of them!”
