Kyle Lowry: ‘I Will Retire As A Toronto Raptor’

In the final year of his contract, Kyle Lowry’s future with the Toronto Raptors is uncertain. He’s been the heart and soul of the organization during the past nine seasons and was a huge reason the Raptors were able to win a title in 2019. Prior to this season, he was an NBA All-Star for six consecutive years.

Regardless of whether he finishes out this season with the Raptors, or is traded to a new team, Lowry has said that he wishes to retire a member of the Toronto Raptors one way or another.

“I will retire as a Toronto Raptor…One-day contract, hey whatever happens.”

So far this season, Lowry has appeared in 29 games, averaging 18.0 points, 7.2 assists and 5.5 rebounds per contest. Still a valuable piece at 34 years old, Lowry will make an impact on any team he plays for.
