Lycke The 16-Year-Old Singer From Sweden

Lycke the 16-year-old that is leading the way in her field of music, she is trying to help and inspire those through her music. Everyone be sure to check out her story.

She has around 1k followers on Instagram, everyone make sure you go give her a follow if you don’t already!

We got the chance to interview her, here are a few things she had to say.

How old are you?

I am 16 years old.

What inspired you to get involved with music?

I have always loved music and been interested in guitars, and many years ago I got a guitar and a guitar course for my birthday.

I’ve had the best guitar teacher I could imagine and I’m so thankful for him.

He inspires me so much and he is the reason I started singing! So I learned from the best!

How long have you been doing music?

I’ve been singing for almost a year and playing the guitar since I was 9 years old, so I’ve played for 7 years now!

I created my Instagram account where I post my covers in December 2018 and I now have over 1k, which I never thought would happen and I’m so grateful for.

Do you write songs or do covers?

I do covers on Instagram but I’m writing some songs as well.

My goal is to drop songs of my own, although I don’t know when that will happen. But you can always dream, right?

What is your favorite thing about signing?

My favorite thing about singing is that you can do everything with a song, fill it with emotion, make the listener feel emotions!

And you can let out your feelings, there’s a song for every occasion and it can really lighten up your mood!

Do you have any advice for teens in your field?

Just start! I was so nervous when I posted my first cover, but now I love posting new content for my followers!

The hardest part is often starting and the “future you” will thank you the earlier you start! And think on the positive side!

Sure, there’s a lot of trolls on Instagram although I’ve been lucky not to get so much hate at all, don’t listen to them.

I’m sure someone likes what you do, so try your best to focus on that although that’s really hard.

They’re probably just jealous, if someone tries to bring you down, that means they’re below you!

Your potential is endless and you are your biggest limit and enemy.

I believe in you!
