Hello everyone we had the wonderful chance to interview Megha. The Miss Teen Universe competition is a worldwide thing. There are competitors from all over. This is still a great accomplishment for Megha being a finalist in her great country which is India.
She currently has 3.3k followers on instagram. Make sure you checkout her page. That’s a great life lesson as well sometimes you will lose in life and thats ok, it’s about what you do after you lose is what’s important.
How old are you?
I’m 16 y.o
What made you run for miss teen india?
So firstly, I have always been an introvert. I lacked confidence and was insecure about myself. I never liked doing anything out of my comfort zone. But I’ve always wanted to do something for the society, I wanted to be the voice of people but to bring a change I knew first I have to change myself and that made me run for Miss teen India where I had to face people and express myself which gradually increased my confidence and self love. Also pageants are a great platform for promoting social work as they value inner beauty more than outer appearances.
Can you describe your experience being a finalist for miss teen India?
Miss teen India was once in a lifetime experience for me and I will cherish it forever. There were such amazingly talented girls and I got to learn so much from them also, I learnt how to have a healthy competition instead pulling each other’s leg.
What are you plans for the future?
I really wish to represent my country in miss universe someday and I just want that whatever work I do it should be beneficial for the society in some or the other way.
Do you have any advice for teens in your field?
Being a teen I understand the pressure to cope up with the advancing trends. We try to be like some other people whom the society has labelled as public figure or idols but instead of it we should focus on enhancing or own values, and the most important thing to love your own self.
