Hello everyone. We had the wonderful chance to interview Nate. He is a 14 year old who loves music, he is a talented drummer. Nate is even the drummer the band he’s in only at the age of 14 that’s very impressive. It takes a lot of guts to do what you love at a very young age. I’m 14 years old
What inspired you to start drumming?
Growing up I loved rock music and I had a mini drum kit so one day my parents signed me up for drum lessons and that’s where it started.
What is your favorite thing about drumming?
Meeting new people that are also musicians and also creating music.
Your in a band we see. Does your band make your own music or do you do covers mostly?
I’m in two bands, one is just a cover band which is called Intolerance. The other band is a psychedelic rock band and we write our own music only, which is called In Plain Air.
What are your future plans for drumming?
I hope to be a musician for a living and I want to play music my whole life.
Do you have any advice for teens in your field?
My advice is to be yourself, and practice. If you work hard and be humble opportunities will come to you.
