A reader referred me to the latest EleVen catalog that shows sketches of Venus Williams’ collections ready for the first half of 2021. It is stated that the activewear company has a new design team. The American’s tennis clothes this spring and summer will involve a mint zebra print, snake print and tie-dye mixed up with iridescent hues.
Forest Star
This collection combines bold zebra prints with solid pops of illusion jacquard in deep blue, mint and black. Some items include mesh contrast details and side snap details.
The centerpiece is the Queen Skater Dress in mint zebra print. The collection also features the Center Court Razor Tank, Keep It Twisted Tank, Zebra Race Day Tank, Truest Love Tank, High Serve Long Sleeve, Zebra Fly Skirt, Center Court Tennis Skirt, Sideline Pullover, and Sideline Snap Short.
The catalog states that this collection should be delivered in January, so I guess that this is what Venus will wear at the Australian Open. We’ll see. Venus is always unpredictable.
In the Curves
For March, EleVen prepared colorblocked curved lines in white, blue and sunny coral mixed with the snake print.
The highlight of the collection is the Crescent Moon Dress, featuring two curved vertical colorblocks. The High Swing Tank, Snake Race Day Tank, Peace Maker Tank, Love To Love Rib Tee, Sun Bliss Top, Sun Bliss Skirt, Can’t Stop Won’t Stop Skirt, and High Swing Skirt are other items in this collection.
The Glow Up
The Glow Up combines iridescent hues of bright pink and pearl with pops of tie-dye.
Perfectly matching the iridescent Venus Starr Dress is the Glowup Fly Away Jacket, an extravagant cropped design with drawstring detail on the puff sleeves. This collection is intended for May 2021.
Soon Venus should launch her new apparel ready for 2021, so we’ll have a better look at the designs. Last year’s EleVen collections are now discounted at Tennis Warehouse.
