Sophia Fone: Teen Vlogger and Influencer

Hello everyone we had the chance to interview Sophia Fone. Sophia has a very unique life as you can tell from her Instagram and youtube page. She’s honestly one of the coolest girls you’ll ever meet.

She currently has 208k followers on Instagram where you can go view her page and like all of her posts. 🙂

How old are you?

I’m currently 18 years old.

How well do you rate your Fortnite skills on a scale of 1-10 and why?

If I’m gonna be honest here I’d rate my Fortnite skills a solid 5 out of 10. I like to hype myself up on social media even though I’m pretty bad at that game. I have my techniques but I cannot build for the life of me. It’s seriously been my obsession during this quarantine.

You can hear me screaming at my tv at 3am every night just from rage.

What are some of the ways that you try to entertain your audience through your YouTube page?

When I think about entertaining my audience, the first thing I think about is staying true to myself. People enjoy seeing others that they can relate to which Is what I genuinely go for.

I really true to be authentic and put my true self out there because nowadays everybody wants “perfection” and strives for it but truthfully it doesn’t exist.

It’s really important for me to show my flaws and mistakes so people know that just because I have “followers” doesn’t mean I don’t have the same feelings and thoughts as everyone else.

Since food is the way to your heart what is your favorite food and how long did it take you to eat that huge donut on your insta page?

I’m constantly eating or thinking about food. I finish lunch and then think about what I’m gonna have for dinner five seconds after. I would say my favorite food has always been chicken tenders. It’s something I know I’m never gonna get sick of. It’s just a comforting food.

If I’m at a restaurant I already know I’m gonna be getting the chicken tenders no matter what.  That donut on my Instagram page took me less than 20 minutes to completely devour it. I had some help from some of my family but the majority of it was me eating it in one sitting.

Where do you get your creativity from to make the type of content you do for your social media pages?

I think I find my creativity just by being myself. I really enjoy posting content that people can relate to and laugh at.

I don’t want to strive to be anything other than myself and that’s why I really love social media. I don’t overthink what I’m gonna post or do, I just do it.

What are some of the plans that you have for yourself in the future?

Thinking of the future stresses me out to the max because I’m as clueless as it gets. I change my mind about what I wanna do and where I wanna do it every week.

It’s definitely not easy because you always wanna follow your heart but I’m not really sure what my heart is telling me to do right now. I know I’m gonna continue doing social media,

I don’t think it’s going to be my main focus but I’m always gonna have it there just for my enjoyment! I’m gonna be going to college and meeting people along the way!

Do you have any advice for teens in your field?

Some advice I would give for teens in my field is to always stay true to yourself. At the end of the day, followers and how many likes you get don’t matter. What truly matters is your happiness. Don’t strive to be like other people. Be the best version of yourself and don’t let “followers” get to your head.
