While focus nationally has shifted to the 2020 presidential election, hundreds of down-ballot races were also decided in early November around the country.
One in New Hampshire? It involved former New England Revolution Academy and UNH center back Willis Griffith (Amherst, N.H.).
Griffith, 26, won reelection in the Hillsborough 18 district of New Hampshire’s House of Representatives after initially winning the seat in 2018, staving off a Republican challenger. Griffith, who’s also chair of the Granite State’s Young Democrats Caucus, is quickly growing a profile in local politics.
