Woman called a ‘smurf’ after bathroom mishap

If you haven’t in some way messed up while trying to alter your own hair, you haven’t truly lived.

One TikTok user faced this problem after dyeing her hair blue at home — only her blunder went viral.

“Do you think my Gran will notice I dyed my hair?” @kinsey_dixon, whose name is Kinsey, asked in her video, which now has nearly 25 million views and 4.9 million likes.

She revealed that not only did she dye her hair blue, but her body and the bathroom also got caught in the crossfire.

It’s reminiscent of an iconic scene from the TV show Arrested Development in which a character “blue himself” in anticipation for an audition for the Blue Man Group.

Commenters called her a “smurf,” a Na’vi from Avatar and Violet Beauregarde from Willy Wonka.

“You got some bathroom on your hair dye,” one user wrote.

“How did it even get that bad,” another joked.

“I don’t know how this happened,” a third said.

Kinsey has been sharing updates every few days on her condition. So far, she’s still blue — but at least she was able to break it to her grandmother, who was only upset that she bleached her hair first.
